Today marks the anniversary for the wide release of It Follows, release don March 14, 2015. Later that same year, I visited many of the locations while following Madonna on tour.
The first girl’s house had already gone through major renovation, even by my visit in 2015. It is located at 1492 Yorkshire Road in Birmingham, Michigan.
We get our first glimpse of the main house at 38721 Trafalgar Way in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This is on the side on Tinkler Road.
The Redford Theatre is located at 17360 Lahser Road in Detroit.
The restaurant was shot at Nick’s Country Oven at 511 W 14 Mile Road in Clawson, Michigan.
The girls walk up Trafalgar Way….
…and look at the house across the street at 38748 Trafalgar Way.
I couldn’t get access to it, but the abandoned building is at 41001 W Seven Mile Road in Northville, Michigan.
The ice cream shop is at 3312 Twelve Mile Road in Berkley, Michigan.
The Distinguished Barber Shop seen in the background is located at 20611 West Grand River Avenue in Detroit.

Driving to the boys house they start at the corner of Newton and Keaton Drive in Troy, Michigan. The house at the end of the street is 834 Bridge Park Drive.
