Happy Death Day 2U (2019)

After the success of Happy Death Day, a sequel wasn’t too far behind. (This reminds me, I haven’t updated the original page but will get to it soon!)

Once again, the film revisited many of the same locations used in the original at Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The film begins with a character waking up across the street from 1817 Calhoun Street in New Orleans.

This is right next to the campus….

True to the original, we replay the scene but with slightly different angles….

The church is located at 6367 St. Charles Avenue on the campus.

The main academic quad is used again to enter into Marquette Hall.

The entrance to the lab is the back of Louis J. Roussel Performance Hall at Loyola University.

Back to Marquette Hall…

This was shot in the walkway connecting Marquette Hall to Thomas Hall.

Once again, the sorority house is at 7320 St. Charles Avenue.

The restaurant once again is the Audubon Clubhouse Café located at 6500 Magazine Street.

Back to the lab….

The roof jump was shot at Monroe Hall on campus.

Multiple versions of this scene were shot at Stallings Hall.

Back to the lab….again.

Back to the restaurant….

This was shot at Hotel Hope, located at 3923 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in New Orleans. This is actually an organization to assist the homeless and were kind enough to let me take pictures.

Back to the sorority…

And the restaurant….

This was shot in the quad next to Monroe Hall….
