Halloween (2018) Gas Station

Next up we have the gas station. I visited this spot a couple times. The first was well before the first trailer even hit, but I knew they shot there and got a few shots. I visited again a few months after the film came out and got more exact shots. It is located at 1256 Yeamans Hall Road in Hanahan, South Carolina.

The inside looks pretty much the same, of course they could not use any real-brand products.

The shot that showed up in the trailer…

Astute fans will notice the Libby Glass sign across the street, which indicates this was the same spot that Dr. Loomis found the abandoned truck next to the railroad in the first Halloween film.

The gas station owners are typically nice to fans and let them get inside shots.

Here is the interiors of the garage. It’s probably best to go near the end of the day right before they close to ensure you are not in anyone’s way.

And as a true fan, you should park and get gas in the same spot they did in the movie at the #5 pump.

The actual bathroom scenes were shot on a stage, but we return to the scene later in the film.

The reverse Jamie Lee Curtis shot was NOT shot at the gas station, but instead across from the location used for the school dance at 1455 Monitor Street in North Charleston, South Carolina.
