I went to this film in the theatre begrudgingly, but was pleasantly surprised and actually loved the film! While in New Orleans a few years ago, i visited some of the locations.
The first school we see in the opening flashback is located at 4301 Grace King Place in Metairie, Louisiana. Schools were closed during my visit so I couldn’t get very close.
The park scenes were shot at Lafreniere Park at 3000 Downs Boulevard in Metairie, Louisiana.
The church is not on 21 Jump Street but located at 222 N Roman Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Jonah Hill’s house is located at 10005 Hyde Place in River Ridge, Louisiana.
The owners saw me taking pictures outside and were kind enough to ask me and allowed me to take some pictures!
I wasn’t able to go to this location, but the liquor store was located at 2109 33rd Street in Kenner, Louisiana.
The mall was located at 1401 W Esplanade Avenue in Kenner, Louisiana.
The school where they go undercover is located at 240 Riverdale Drive in Jefferson, Louisiana.
The track was located in a different spot at 2200 8th Street in Harvey, Louisiana.
The nerds’ house is located at 401 Park Boulevard in New Orleans.
The car jump was located on 600 Market Street in New Orleans.
Part of the chase scene was shot on the Crescent Connection bridge.
The meet up was shot near the corner of Celeste and South Peters Streets in New Orleans.
The final chase was shot in downtown New Orleans.
