Happy 40th anniversary to Graduation Day, released May 1, 1981. I’ve been to a few locations over the years, but haven’t got around to posting anything yet. This is will be a brief entry until I can do a full page for the film.
First up, part of the Drive goes through Larchmont Boulevard in the Hancock Park area.

After reading a comment today from John Haughey, I thought I would put my detective skills to work and tracked down two missing locations. This first house is at 200 North Avenue 66 in Los Angeles, just adjacent to Pasadena. There is a big fence obstruction the front of the house, hence the side shots.

Unfortunately, the other house is long gone, but it was the George W. Wilson estate at 616 N Avenue 66, destroyed by fire in 1989; read more here. Below is a shot I found online before the fire.
As of 2024, still an empty lot during my visit.
