Today marks the anniversary for Legally Blonde, released on July 13, 2001. I only first saw this film last year, although I had seen the musical version prior. None of these location pictures were taken on purpose for this film, but happened to be in my inventory of photos for other films.
This quick shot is at the California Institute of Technology at 1200 East California Boulevard in Pasadena, California. This spot was also seen in The Initiation Of Sarah.
These scenes were shot at 200 North Michillinda Avenue in Sierra Madre, California.
The campus was shot in several places including the University of Southern California…
UCLA….
…and the All Saints Episcopal Church at 132 North Euclid Avenue in Pasadena; also seen in Cruel Intentions.
The party was shot at the Heritage Square Museum at 3800 Homer Street in Los Angeles. This house was also used in Phantasm II.
This scene was shot at Descanso Gardens at 1418 Descanso Drive in La Cañada Flintridge. I doubt this is the actual spot, but still including it here for reference.
The final location was shot at the Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana, California. It has been used in many films and most notably in American Horror Story: Asylum.
