Today marks the release of Mack & Rita, starring Diane Keaton. Haven’t seen the movie yet, but visited a couple locations that showed up in the trailer. It appears the film was shot in Los Angeles and Palm Springs.

What I’m guessing is her loft is located at 691 Mill Street in Los Angeles. This spot is used in many films including Vice Squad and To Catch A Killer.
