Today marks the 35th anniversary of Return of the Living Dead. Although it’s supposed to take place in Kentucy, it’s of course shot in Los Angeles.

Colonel Gloverr’s house is located at 2001 Paseo Del Mar in Palso Verdes, California.

The railroad crossing is at the corner of Jesse Street and South Santa Fe Avenue. The railroad and all markings are now gone, but you can still see the crossing sign in an old Google streetview image:
