A fan asked me to track down locations for Brainscan. I’ll admit, I had never seen the film before, but took on the challenge. According to IMDB it was shot in Montreal, but that’s about all the info I could find. I tracked down most of the locations, but as I have no plans to travel up there anytime soon, Google view is all I have for now. Unfortunately, not too many streetview shots were available of the two main houses.
I found Michael’s house (Edward Ferlong) at 472 Lakeshore Road in Beaconsfield, Quebec. Right next door is Kimberly’s house at 474 Lakeshore Road.
There is still a tennis court in the middle of all the houses!
Michael bikes through Brookside Park at 81 Brookside Avenue in Beaconsfield. The house seen in the far background is at 80 Brookside Avenue and the one behind Detective Hayden is 83 Brookside Avenue.
The next murder is at 14 Rue Thompson Point in Beaconsfield.
The school was at 17 Maple Street in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec. You don’t see the front of the school, but these buildings and church across the street.
