You would think as much as I go to LA that I would have taken time to do Die Hard, but I have not except for a few shots if I was near the building. I remember seeing the trailers for this in the theatre and people laughing t the thought of Bruce Willis in an action movie. Guess he showed them wrong! Today marks the anniversary of the movie, originally released on July 20, 1988.
As most people know, the Nakatomi building is actually Fox Plaza at 2121 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, California.
This area was also used in Looker.
Security gets very uptight about people trying to take pictures, but this was shot from my hotel next door.
