Today marks the anniversary for Flowers In The Attic, released November 20, 1987. Although mostly shot in Massachusetts, a few scenes were shot in California.
The first family house at 1960 La France Avenue in South Pasadena. It was also used in Rob Zombie’s Halloween.
Although the Crane Estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts, was used for most of the shooting, the ending was shot at the Greystone Mansion (905 Loma Vista Drive in Beverly Hills, California). Interestingly, both of these mansions were also used for Witches of Eastwick and the room below was Jack Nicholson’s bedroom in the film.
The (former) pool area was used where mother tumbles over the railing and hangs in the lattice work.
