Grease is still the word! Today marks the 42nd anniversary since the release of GREASE. As a 70’s kid, it was of course one of my favorites. I loved visiting “Rydell High” but the ultimate was meeting Olivia Newton-John in 2014; then meeting her and John Travolta a special GREASE sing-a-long screening in 2019.
Love is a many splendored thing at Leo Carrillo State Beach, located at 35000 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California.
Most of the exteriors of Rydell High were shot at Venice High School, 13000 Venice Boulevard in Venice, California.
The slumber party was at 4524 Kingswell Avenue in Los Angeles.
There are worse things I could do….
The carnival was shot in the field behind John Marshall High School. Located at 3939 Tracy Street, this school is best known for it’s appearance in A Nightmare On Elm Street and Pretty In Pink.
