The Canyons was one of those productions that had more publicity as it was filming than when it was actually released. The New York Times article created an.... "interesting" picture of the production starring Lindsay Lohan and James Deen. Like a lot of Bret Easton Ellis' works (Rules of Attraction still being the best), it is a love letter to Los Angeles as the many locations attest....
