The Fly (1986) remains one of my favorite films of all time and has held up well over the years. The sequel released three years later is a fun follow up. While it doesn’t have the heart and soul of the original, it doubles down on the effects and corporate evilness.
I have not specifically went out to set-jet these locations, but on a trip a while ago, I grabbed some shots of one of the primary spots used in the film.
The exteriors of Bartok Industries was shot at Simon Fraser University at 8888 University Drive West in Burnaby, British Columbia. Many productions have shot here for its stark, modern architecture.
