One of my all-time favorites, Thelma & Louise, celebrates its anniversary. Released on May 24, 1991, the film received critical acclaim and criticism. It was shot in a few states, but below are some of the locations around the Los Angels area.
Thelma’s house was a location I found way back in 2013, but haven’t visited since that time. It is located at 18633 Palomino Drive in Tarzana, California.
The Silver Bullet Saloon was actually called that at the time. It is located at 3321 South Street in Long Beach, California/
The motel was located at 49713 Gorman Post Roadin Gorman, California. (This is not too far from where Janet Leigh was woken up by the police officer in PSYCHO.)
Louise’s apartment was a bit tougher to find, but I located it at 10423 Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake, California.
The Oklahoma motel is actually the Vagabond Inn located at 3101 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.
