One of my sister’s favorite movies is Waitress (2007). I’ve been to the cafe location over the years, but never visited intentionally for this movie.
The main location is a working diner called the Halfway House Cafe. It has been used in countless productions including Westworld and The Twilight Zone: The Movie. It is located at 15564 Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita, California.
The interior has changed a bit since filming….
No booths like the movie unfortunately…
Proud of their movie status, they are sometimes playing the movie while you eat!
In the end, the place gets a makeover, but that didn’t seem to stick fortunately.
I recognized this area immediately as South Pasadena. The house is located at 1901 Oxley Street, right between Pee Wee’s house from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure and the iconic hedge scene from Halloween.
