Today marks the anniversary for WarGames, released June 3, 1983. Here are just a couple of locations I have visited during my travels.
David’s house is at 333 South Arden Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The school was filmed at 640 Main Street in El Segundo, California.
I finally made a stop to the 20 Grand Palace location. No longer an arcade it is now an Jackeez and Nicolz at 20000 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills. The exterior shot was from across the street, but I wasn’t risking my life for it!
They were kind enough to let us take some pictures inside. Of course, not too much is recognizable decades later.
The 7-Eleven is at 41440 Big Bear Boulevard in Big Bear, California. This is not far from several Witchboard locations.
